updates and patches for both the US and Europe versions of RCT3
NORTH AMERICA:
UPDATE 1 for RCT3
was released for the US retail version of the game on
November 19th. Official updates for
RollerCoaster Tycoon®
3 are delivered two ways: click the UPDATES
button found on the game's autorun
screen (which is displayed when you insert the game-disc
into your CD-ROM drive); or when you click the Check
For Updates shortcut found in the Windows
START menu under START > Programs > Atari >
RollerCoaster Tycoon®
3. Downloads have also been made
available for those who cannot access the internet from the
PC on which they play RCT3.
The full North
American UPDATE 1 is about 10MB in size. If you already
have UPDATE 1a BETA installed a smaller, 4MB, Update will be
applied. If you choose to download the Update, you need to
be careful to select the correct one (to update from either
the standard retail version or Beta Update 1).
Download
locations – if you need to access the download of Update 1
rather than using the ‘Check for Updates’ button, the
locations are:
FOR THOSE
WHO HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED THE BETA UPDATE, download and
install (run) the following file:

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT INSTALLED ANY UPDATE, download and

EUROPE:
UPDATE 1 for
RCT3 was released for the European retail version of the
game on November 25th as a download and on
November 30th via the game’s
autorun screen and the Check
for Updates shortcut found in the Windows START menu.
