The Rise and Fall of the Phoenix - Background
Information
The Phoenix is a legendary bird that burns its nest once a year
and is magically reborn from it's ashes. Being a mystical
animal, the Phoenix's true legend remains somewhat of a mystery;
a mystery that Sheila Traumain had to invest in. She purchased a
peace of land in a desert near Las Vegas to open yet another
Woolette Amusement park.
With the millions of dollars she had, Shiela bought thousands of
pounds of ice cream clogging her arteries which, in turn, caused
her death. Bertha Mina, her sister, took advantage of this
opportunity and took over the construction.
You have been hired to design a coaster that is themed to the
extreme with the dark and mysterious nature the Phoenix boasts.
With your slave labourers, you will build an extremely themed
coaster that captures the fall and rise of this legendary bird.

Rules (Read Carefully) -
- You must use the park provided.
- The use of trainers/hacks is strictly prohibited.
- The rollercoaster must be ride able.
If you disobey any of these rules, your park will be
disqualified.

Tips And Hints On Making A Good Phoenix Coaster:
Bertha Mina is just a strict as Sheila Traumain, so follow these
two tips
- Themeing is a HUGE key in this compo, theme it to the
extreme while making the ride mysterious and dark.
- The point is to capture the fall and rise of the Pheonix,
making it the same the whole way through isn't going to
impress Ms. Mina too much.

Judging It:
The park will be judged as follows:
80%: How creative and original the scenery is.
20%: How original and creative the roller coaster is.

Saved Game Installation - This Saved Game must be used
for creating your entry otherwise it will be disqualified. You
Must Have RCT2 to open this saved game.

To open the saved game file, simply extract the file using
WinZip (or any other zipping enabled software) to a location of
your choice. After your extraction, double click the saved game
file to open RCT2 and automatically load the saved game file. There is a example of what
the saved game park should look like down below. |

Sending In Your Legend:
E-mail the ZIPPED park to
legoman85@dot-totally.co.uk before the deadline. Please make
sure to save your park as: (your username).sv6. In the e-mail
itself, include the following: your username, your e-mail, and
explain why you chose to do your park they way you did.
