The Temple -
We have had some really creative entries in the
past, so I thought it was finally time to put some pressure on
our entrants. This time around I place a land modification
restriction on the park. This may have been a made things harder
for some, but it also made people think about one less thing.
Aswell Ice Themeing was the main theme of this competition. We
did revceive some amazing entries, that made it hard to give
positions away.

Its nice to know that the former Competition
Manager would send in an entry; and win. Urban is quite the
capable RCT Designer, much more capable than I am thats for
sure. His design was truly stunning, and realistic. Plus he did
capture the essence of the queen's tyranny with the high
excitement, large swoops, and screaming turns. The only thing
that I would suggest for next time is be creative. A little
creative can take you a long way.

Dictator (Runner Up) :-

This peice was hard to place, I didn't know whether to stick it
in first or have it claim the runner up position. The only thing
holding me back was the lack of excitment versus the winner's
rating. I loved the towers around the coaster, they gave a
sentimental feeling to the design. They seemed to shout words of
hatred, all things that captured the queens tyranny, but since
scenery wasn't the main scoring factor in this compo so it
didn't help the entry too much. In the future, remember to keep
your scoring in mind, I do account for what I say.

Conclusion :-
This competition was a first in regards to the land
restrictions. I did make the competition a little harder, but it
also left one thing less to worry about. Perhaps the next compo
will be more simplistic. |
