Arashi Kaminari - Background Information
On the Island of Tenki, there occurs a phenomena that only the
local villagers and one man have witnessed: the joining of the
spirit of Arashi and the spirit of Kaminari. The fishermen call
this joining the "Arashi Kaminari", or "Thunder Storm". It
occurs only once every thousand years, but the site is
stupendous. The man who witnessed this, Mr. Joseph Woolette,
thought of an idea that will make him millions, upon billions of
dollars. The creation of the only supernatural theme park in the
world. After purchasing the already deserted land, Mr. Woolette
hires the best rollercoaster designer on the market... you. Your
job is to build a large duelling coaster on the island. Your job
will not be easy, Mr. Joseph Woolette is a picky man.

Rules (Read Carefully) -
- You must use the park provided.
- You must create a dueler.
- The use of trainers/hacks is strictly prohibited.
- The rollercoaster must be ride able.
- Your ride must be named Arashi Kaminari.
If you disobey any of these rules, your park will be
disqualified.

Tips And Hints On Making This A Good "Arashi Kaminari"
Dueller:
- Arashi Kaminari stands for Thunder Storm. Thunder storms
are violent, fierce, unpredictable things... having a gentle
coaster isn't a way to butter me up.
- You are allowed to create two separate coasters (i.e. with
completely separate tracks) or one coaster that duels with
itself (i.e. leaves one side of the station but arrives at the
other). If creating two separate coaster, the use of two
different ride types is acceptable.
- Since this dueller must resemble the joining of the spirit
of Arashi and the spirit of Kaminari, it would probably be a
good idea if you make the ride twist and turn together. Don't,
I repeat DON'T create a ride that just mirrors itself. Mr.
Woolette will not be impressed.

Judging It:
The park will be judged as follows:
25%: How well you coaster resembles the joining of "Arashi
Kaminari".
25%: How creative and original the scenery is.
40%: How original and creative the roller coaster is.
10%: How your coaster ratings have turned out.
For a total of 100%

Saved Game Installation - This Saved Game must be used
for creating your entry otherwise it will be disqualified. You
Must Have RCT2 to open this saved game.
Download Here
To open the saved game file, simply extract the file using
WinZip (or any other zipping enabled software) to a location of
your choice. After your extraction, double click the saved game
file to open RCT2 and automatically load the saved game file. There is a example of what
the saved game park should look like down below. |

Sending In Your Work Of Sheer Brilliance:
E-mail the ZIPPED park to
legoman85@dot-totally.co.uk before the deadline. Please make
sure to save your park as: (your username).sv6. In the e-mail
itself, include the following: your username, your e-mail, and
explain why you chose to do your park they way you did.
